Obituary of Arlene Whitfield

Arlene Whitfield, 89, fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. She was born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania and was an Akron area resident for most of her life. She resided in Bath since 1955 and most recently resided in Millersburg. She was a graduate of Garfield High School Class of 1940 and was a member of the Presentation of Our Lord Orthodox Church in Fairlawn. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and eight siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann (Thomas) Hooper and Jaqueline Lee (Gary) Baumgardner; grandchildren, Heather Baumgardner, Betsy (Gene) Muskovin and Joe (Susan) Hooper; and great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Liberty Hooper and Colin and Madison Muskovin. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Presentation of Our Lord Orthodox Church, 3365 Ridgewood Rd. in Fairlawn, Ohio where she will lie in state and the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
