Obituary of Edna Ruth Klever

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Edna R. Klever, 95, passed away Oct. 6, 2010. She was born Oct. 5, 1915 to Ellen and Charles Grether in Northampton Twp. where she resided all her life. Her talents of quilting and knitting were used in her charity work benefiting Project Linus and North Hill Needlecrafters. She was a life long member of Northampton United Methodist Church. Her warm and loving heart will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W., sister Marian Shaw; and brother Charles Grether. She is survived by son, Dale (Karen) of Vacaville, Calif.; daughter, Barbara (Terry) Austin of Green, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, many nieces and nephews, and life long friend Betty Greene. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL (at 3rd St., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls), where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Northampton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 West Bath Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44223.
