Obituary of Aurelia E. Sattler

Aurelia E. Sattler, 92, fell asleep in the Lord Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Altercare of Cuyahoga Falls. She was born in Newark, Ohio and was a lifetime resident of the Akron area. She was a member of the Presentation of Our Lord Orthodox Church and Ladies Auxiliary, Fellowship of Saints Simeon and Anna, PTA, County Council and Board of Elections. She enjoyed reading and she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special Thank you to the Staff of Altercare of Cuyahoga Falls for their Loving Care of our Mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, Ron; and son-in-law, Bob Stephan. She is survived by her children, Karen (David) Pascu, Pam (Vance) Deal, David (Laura) Sattler and Barbara (Bill) Brown; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at the Presentation of Our Lord Orthodox Church, 3365 Ridgewood Rd. in Fairlawn where she will lie in state one hour prior to service. Very Rev. Dr. Ian G. Pac-Urar officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron where a Saracusta service will be held at 7 p.m. Donations may be made to the Presentation of Our Lord Church General Fund, 3365 Ridgewood Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333.
