Obituary of Bertha 'Phyllis' Labbe

Bertha 'Phyllis' Labbe, 88, went home to be with the Lord on September 25, at Traditions at Bath Rd. in Cuyahoga Falls. Born in Braddock,PA on February 1, 1922 to the late Carl and Bertha Rodgers, Phyllis had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sisters Virginia Rhoads and Shirley Dannemiller. She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Joseph; sons Frank (Sher) of Cuyahoga Falls and Joe (Diana) of Silver Lake; daughters Susan (Jeff) Moorehead of Stow Sharon (Mike) Shaffer of Stow, and Sandra (Michael) Yamokoski of Cuyahoga Falls; brother Bob Rodgers of Killbuck, OH; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 12:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL (at 3rd. st., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls), where the family will also receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Donations in Phyllis' memory may be made to Traditions at Bath Rd. 300 E. Bath Rd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
