Obituary of Angelina Caruso
Angie Caruso, 91, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012.
A lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio, Angie was a devout Catholic, dedicated volunteer, and member of Immaculate Conception Church for many years. She was a charter member of the Altar & Rosary Society where she held many offices, including being named Catholic Woman of the Year in 1997. Other memberships include Sons of Italy Lodge 685, Kenmore Senior Citizens, and AARP.
Preceded in death by husband, Guy J. "Nino"; she is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Larry Stanley; MaryJo and Jim Seigman; sons and daughter-in-law John and Candi; and Jim Caruso. Grandchildren: Sandy and John; Mike and Patti; BJ & Michelle; Tim and Peggy; Danny and Abby; Angela and Matt; Sarah and Jeff. Great-grandchildren: Mike; Cody; Tony; TJ; Nick; Jenna; and Lucy. Brother: John Carcione and sister-in-law: Evelyn Caruso. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and special friends: Nancy Rose, Frank Powell, and her four-legged friend, Rufus.

The family will receive friends on Monday, from 4-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the Sons of Italy will perform a memorial ritual at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
