Obituary of Richard Elsworth Fink

Richard Elsworth Fink, 82, passed away on September 5, in Cuyahoga Falls. Born in Rantoul, IL on April 14, 1928, Richard had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident since 1949. He was a graduate of Kent State University where he majored in business and was employed as a manager for the Eastern-Central Motor Carriers Association, where he worked for 34 years. Dick was an avid golfer and fisherman. He also enjoyed reading, especially Civil War history. Richard is survived by his loving wife Aileen of Cuyahoga Falls; sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Beth Fink of Virginia Beach, VA and Andy and Kelley Fink of Columbia, SC; daughter and son-in-law LuAnne and Charles Dennis of Kent; grandchildren Christopher (Leslee) and Noah (Sarah)Dennis, and Benjamin (Signy), Daniel, Emily, and Jacob Fink; sister Rusty Coopwood of TX and nephew Jim Peterson. The family will receive friends TODAY from 6-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL (at 3rd st., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls). A funeral service will take place on Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, where the American Legion Charles Faust Post #281 will conduct military honors.
