Mary leaves her brothers - Edward (Lorraine) Ray, William (Shirley) Ray, sisters - Catherine Miraglia, Eleanore (Carl) Segal, Martha Yensen and numerous nieces and nephews. Mourning her loss yet celebrating her embrace in God's loving arms are her children - Carolyn Eisenhut-Compton, Loretta Carlisle (Bob), Patricia Drapcho (Bob), Kathleen Tyrrell (Ed), Theresa Holden (Ross), Mary Jo Loos (Bob), Dolores Olechnowicz (Tom), Eileen Mollica (Jeff Schaefer), Michael, Anne Marie Carroll (Jerry), Gina Koncz (Jeff). Her legacy will continue on with her 34 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. The family would also like to acknowledge her friends and staff at The Village at St. Edwards, with a special thanks to Sr. Bea who gave her life even more enjoyment and fulfillment. Her love, wisdom and faith were an inspiration to her children. We aspire to emulate the beautiful life she led, the compassion she showed toward all; the strength in her faith was unbending. She will always be remembered as a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul, a beautiful heart and a radiant smile. Mommy was devoted to our Blessed Mother through the Rosary and chose this passage from the Magnificat prayer book: "Our life is brief as summer grass, Our days are but a sigh; We wither at the winds that pass And fade and fall and die. But safe in God's almighty hand Our souls are kept secure For evermore His world shall stand His covenant endure." The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. David Bline on Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church on Manchester Rd. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Village at St. Edwards, 3125 Smith Road, Fairlawn, OH 44333 or the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal World, 5821 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210.
