Obituary of Lorenz Hanich

Lorenz Hanich, 90, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010. He was born in Yugoslavia and retired from the N.R.M. Corporation in 1978 after 30 years of service. Mr. Hanich was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by wife, Katarina (Mireiter); daughter, Theresa Feld; grandson, Anthony Feld; great-granddaughter, Emerson Kavanshansky; and sister, Elizabeth Hanich. He is survived by granddaughters, Teresa Rhodes and Mary Ann (John) Kavanshansky; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Brian and Lauren Rhodes and Olivia Kavanshansky; son-in-law, Anthony Feld; brother, Franz (Kathy); and sister, Maria Bajhart. Calling hours Wednesday, 9 to 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (Please note new address) in Akron followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Fr. David Bline celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
