Obituary of Elizabeth Jean Moore
Elizabeth "Jean" Moore, 87, of Coventry Township passed away August 17, 2010.
She was born in Mayfield, Kentucky and Ohio has been her home for 59 years.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, James E. Moore. He was not only her husband, but the love of her life and best friend. Also surviving are son, Gary L. Bazzell and daughter-in-law, Jean Marie; son, Lenny Moore; daughter, Jennifer Ann Meyer and husband, James; her beloved "grands", Lynn Lehmier, Lauri Bazzell, Christopher Bazzell and Justin Meyer; great-grandson, Dylan Lehmier; and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Dale "Butch" Bazzell.
There are no words to express our deep sorrow over the loss of our precious angel of a wife, mother and grandmother. Her love for us and ours for her knew no boundaries. We will miss her forever. A piece of our hearts has gone with her. She was a member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Calling hours Sunday, August 22 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (Please note new address) in Akron. Funeral service Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Max Beery officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
