Obituary of Miladinka Zorich
Miladinka Zorich, 87, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 10, at the Hospice Care Center in Copley.
Born in Yugoslavia on Christmas day in 1922, Miladinka had been an Akron resident since 1951. She was a member of St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church as well as Kolo Srpski Sestara.
Preceded in death by her husband Pavle in 2003 and her brother Milorad Jelic, Miladinka is survived by her daughters and sons-in law Nada and Robert Smith of Uniontown and Vera and Jovan Vujadinovic of Akron; grandsons Christopher and Michael Smith and great-grandchildren Jesse and Ashley Smith; sisters Radmila Milanov of Canada and Vidosava Drobac of Akron; nieces Snezana (Ivan) Mirkovic, Rosa (Dusan) Savic, Danica (Nenad) Milenkovich, and Minja Livada; special friends the Detwiler Family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where a Parastas will take place at 6:30 pm. A funeral service will take place Monday at 11:00 am at St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church, where Miladinka will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Lakewood Cemetery in Akron. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to either St. Demetrius Chruch or to the Hospice Care Center of the Visiting Nurse Service.
