Obituary of Karen Edith Salerno

GREEN - Karen Salerno, 60, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Karen was born August 2, 1950 to Nicholas and Maxine Hytinen in Detroit, Michigan. She was employed by Summit County Board of Developmental Disabilities and was a faithful member of Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church. Karen was preceded in death by her husband Jon in May 2009 and is survived by her children Anthony (Jessica) Lupone of Royal Oak, MI, Gina Lupone Stephens (John) of South Euclid, granddaughter Olivia Lupone, mother Maxine, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and dear friends. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 10:00am at Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church at 2425 Myersville Road, Akron, OH 44312. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony and Biscan Funeral Home at 4178 Massillon Rd. where a wake service will be held Monday at 7:45 pm.
