Obituary of Jane D. Sisto

-NORTHAMPTON Jane D. Sisto, beloved wife & mother, passed away peacefully on October 21, with family by her side. Born in Akron on July 23, 1933 to the Late Rudy & Ellen Feiler, Jane had been a Cuyahoga Falls/Northampton resident for most of her life. She had been an active member of the Northampton United Methodist Church since 1969, where she served in many capacities and especially enjoyed the fellowship of the Church's Young at Heart Group. She was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls AARP and volunteered for many years with the Meals on Wheels Program. Jane was a warm and open person who, with her million dollar smile, could very easily start a friendship with anyone. She lived her life by her motto that, 'You should give a compliment to someone everyday.' Jane loved animals, especially birds, and was an avid traveler. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her son Michael and her brother, Rev. Roger Feiler. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Sam of Cuyahoga Falls; sons Dave of Fort Worth, TX & Scott of Akron; daughter and son-in-law Janine & David Sullivan of Akron; brother Greg Feiler and sister-in-law Doris Feiler, as well as many nieces & nephews and extended family members. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail) in Cuyahoga Falls. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at the Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 W. Bath Rd. in Cuyahoga Falls. Pastor Brett Bartels officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 525 Society Northeast Region N. Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406.
