Obituary of Norma M. Kungle

Norma (Valere) Kungle, 87, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2010. Norma was born in Akron on August 1, 1922 to the late Johanna and Louis Valere. She was a graduate of East High School and was a retiree of Montgomery Ward. Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Steve. She is survived by her children, John (Kay) Kungle, Patricia (Ted) Marusiak, and Kimberly McAbee; grandchildren, Jeremy, Steve, Mike, and Corey Kungle and Kara McAbee; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Alex Valere of Florida and sister, Mary Ann O'Neill of Michigan. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Jack. A private burial will take place on Monday at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron. The family will receive friends Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., where a light meal will be served.
