Obituary of Jeanette Irene Stevens

Jeanette Irene Stevens Jeanette Irene Stevens, 81, went home to be with the Lord on June 22, at Heatherknoll Care Center in Tallmadge. Born in Cuyahoga Falls on May 4, 1929 to the late Kenneth and Irene Gidley, Jeanette had been a lifetime area resident. She retired as a billing clerk for the Cuyahoga Falls Utility Department and was a member of the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her sister Betty Trommer. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Beth and Mark Stone of Tallmadge and Kim and Keith Smith of Silver Lake; grandchildren Megan (Brian) Denham and Matthew Smith; brother Richard Gidley of Globe, AZ. One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in his temple - Psalm 27:4. A memorial service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 am at the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls 2253 3rd st., where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. A private Committal of Ashes will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society 6155 Rockside Rd.
