Obituary of David James Hackett

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- David James Hackett, 64, went home to be with the Lord on June 4, at Heather Knoll Care Center in Tallmadge. Born in Akron on October 4, 1945 to the late James and Mary Hackett, David had been a lifetime area resident. He was a 1963 graduate of the Hower Vocational School. Dave served his country proudly as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Gerard and his sister-in-law, Sue Hackett. He is survived by his brothers, Gregory and Mark (Annette) Hackett and his sisters, Michaeleen (Jerome) Finefrock, Melanie (David) Hanson, and Therese (David Mezzacapo) Hackett, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services have already taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
