Obituary of Madeline B. McClain

Madeline `Ruth' B. McClain (nee Bradley), 94, went home to be with the Lord on May 22, at Altercare of Cuyahoga Falls. Born in Cabin Run, W.Va. on September 30, 1915 to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Bradley, Madeline had been a resident of Akron or Stow for most of her life. She worked for the Akron Regional Development Board as a bookeeper, and also was a volunteer for S.C.O.R.E. In addition to her parents; Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers, Thom, Ben, and Pud and her sister Iris. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary 'Tee' and Louie Antognoli; niece, Lisa (James) Weiser and their children Hope and Noel; also neices, Claudia Bradley, and Nancy Jordan. A graveside Committal of Ashes will take place on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls with Rev. Frank Lonteen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Madeline's memory may be made to the Haven of Rest or the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
