Dorothy A. Ternosky
Dorothy A. Ternosky, 78, loving mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2010.
Born in Akron on September 8, 1931 to the late William and Anna Younkin, Dorothy had been a lifetime area resident. She was a member of the Chapel, where she proudly taught Sunday School for over 31 years.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her Husband Ray in 1988 and her brother Clarence. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Tammy and Dan and Christine Ternosky and daughter Michelle Joyner; brothers Ronald and Everett (Pauline) Younkin; sisters Evelyn Coates, Marilyn Horton, and Rebecca Sanders; grandchildren Danielle (Chuck) Garvin, Patrick (Amy), Bethany, David, and Michael Ternosky, and Brittany Joyner; great-grandchildren Natalie Garvin, and Patrick II and Isaac Ternosky.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Eloy Pacheco on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to the Chapel 135 Fir Hill Akron, OH 44304.
