Obituary of Spencer Matthews Crow

STOW - Spencer Matthews Crow, 20, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 4, 2010. Spencer was born November 28, 1989 to Jeffrey Crow and Debra Matthews in Dunedin, Florida and came to the Akron area in 1994. He attended Stow High School. Spencer was loved and will be missed by his mother Debra Matthews of Akron and father Jeffrey Crow of Stow; sister Brittany Crow and her fiancé Matt Hirschfelt of Akron; grandparents Matt and Lane Matthews of Auburndale, Fla. and Ronald and Flora Jean Crow of Stow; aunts and uncles Steven and Tracey Crow of Jacksonville, Fla., Kathy and Dan Francini; Traci Crow and Sherrie Crow all of Stow; godparents Nick Crow and Kathy Francini; cousins Anthony and Rachel Francini, Ashley and Samantha Coleman; Alicia, Stefanie and Tiffany Keller and Logan Salter; John and the late Alice Kreptowski, Deedee Kreptowski, Alice and Rob Ramian Marianne and Rick Rogers, Rosanne and Bob Holliday, John and Chris Kreptowski and their families. Spencer loved to skate board, snow board and lift weights at Fitness 19 Gym. He had played CYO football, basketball and baseball at St. Paul Catholic Church. He never met a stranger and enjoyed his many friends and acquaintances. The family will receive friends Thursday 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (Please note new address) and will be followed by a Memory Service at 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to help defray expenses.
