Obituary of Victor P. Pishney

Victor P. Pishney, 95, went home to be with the Lord March 30, 2010, at Altercare of Hartville, Ohio. Born in Chalaroi, PA., his family moved to Akron when he was very young. Vic was retired from the Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Pishney; his brother, Edward Pishney; and his first wife, Helen Victoria Pishney. Surviving him are his wife, Ruby Pishney; his sisters, Elsie Ziegler and Eleanor Schreiber of Akron; and brother, John (Marge) Pishney of Tucson, AZ.; Vic's daughter, Fran (Harry "Bob") Butcher and her children, sons, Mark (Lynn) Moore, Glenn (Tish) Moore and daughters, Judith (David) Liskey and Barbara (Steve) Lance; Vic's son, Victor T. Pishney (Anna Stastny) and his children, Timothy Pishney, Deidre (Ray) Intihar and James (Rachelle) Pishney; Vic's grandchildren, Jennifer Moore, Laura Moore and her daughter, Ava, and Katelynn Moore, Jamie T. Moore and his son, Macaleb Moore, Devin and Ethan Liskey, Victoria and Benjamin Sigal and their children, Mikailia and Beniah Sigal, Brandon Lance, Megan and Jonathon Dyson, Hannah and Elizabeth Lance and David, Evan and Marissa Intihar. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Pastor W. David Rosenberger officiating. Interment at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
