Obituary of Robert L. Krueger

Robert L. Krueger, 65, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010. He was born November 23, 1944 to Louis R. and Ida Vera (Henry) Krueger in Cuyahoga Falls and had been an area resident his entire life. Bob graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Accounting. He started his career with the IRS and then went on to work with his father at their company, Krueger & Krueger Assoc. He was an avid sports fan and had a life long interest in health and fitness. In his mid twenties he began studying martial arts under the late Feeman Ong, and went on to open his own school, Yee Sing, which was in operation until he became ill. He additionally taught tai chi and self defense at The University of Akron for over 20 years and had worked as an acupuncturist at the Western Reserve Pain Management Center. Bob will be dearly missed by his daughters, Jennifer Petit and husband Joseph Petit of Green and Jessica Nicole Krueger of Stow; his grandchildren Jacob and Luke Petit; his extended family, his students and his friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marjorie (Charles) Frederick brother Gary Krueger. We are grateful to the kindness and care shown to our father by the staffs of Wyant Woods Care Center and Harbor Light Hospice. A Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday at 8:00 Pm at the Anthony and Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Steese and Massillon Roads in Green). Please bring your memories of our father and grandfather to share during the service, if you are able, or to share privately with our family.
