Obituary of Steven Paul Dooley

GREEN -- Steven P. Dooley, 46, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 8, 2012 at his home. Steven was born October 6, 1966 in Elyria, Ohio to Kenneth E. and Candace (DiBuono) Dooley. He was raised in Indiana, Pa. and had returned to Ohio to work in mechanical engineering technology for Babcock and Wilcox for over 20 years, retiring in 2010. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Connie (Sprankle) and his daughters, Rachel and Chelsea. He is also survived by his father, Kenneth; siblings, Dan (Terri) Dooley, Cheri (Bob) Dooley and Dave (Karen) Dooley; mother-in-law, Donna Sprankle, and father-in-law, Joe Sprankle; sisters-in-law, Dee (John) McCall and Shelley (Dave) Ruddock. He was preceded in death by his mother, Candace and grandparents, Mike and Frances Dooley and Alfred and Lillian DiBuono. A Remembrance Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 pm (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN TIME) at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Steese and Massillon Roads in Green; entrance off Steese Rd). The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 Pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dooley Children's College Fund at any FirstMerit Bank.
