Obituary of Henrietta W. Nolan
Henrietta (Hink) W. Nolan passed away peacefully on March 7, 2010, surrounded by her children.
She was the love of Edward C. Nolan's life as they shared 53 years of joyful marriage together until he passed away in 1994.
Hink's proud accomplishments were - becoming the first female manager of Esco Distributing and achieving the American Red Cross Lifeguard & First Aid Certification at the age of 76. But, her most proud accomplishment was her family - son Greg (Susie), daughters Judy and Carol, grandchildren Matt (Nicki), Jennifer (Dave), Michael (Heather), Mr D (Sam), Jack (Sarah), Andy, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and special friends Bruce and Kerry.
Hink had a contagious enthusiasm for life that touched everyone who met her. She treasured her "life on the Trail" which included Saturday euchre tournaments and sing-alongs, star gazing from the porch over her cherished Long Lake, chasing the moon on nightime boat cruises, and annual family vacations at the beach at Oak Island.
You have been the lighthouse for each and everyone of us and that light will continue to shine in all of our hearts and lives.
