Obituary of Janice M. Capatosta

Janice M. (Rasel) Capatosta, age 72 of Green, Ohio passed away September 30, 2012 with her daughters at her side after a six month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Akron Ohio and graduated from Akron Central High School in 1958. She was retired from the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission after 30 years of employment. She was a member of Greensburg United Methodist Church, Good Neighbors and the Tyler Garden Club. Surviving are her children, Paula (Jeffrey) Wilson of Canton, Ohio. Victoria (George) Ross with whom she resided in Green, Ohio. Granddaughters Amanda Ross (Chris Cook) of Kent, Ohio and Heather Ross (Adam Graham) of Canton, Ohio. Brother Thomas (Mary) Rasel and sister-in-law Rose (Richard) Pfeifer. Also surviving is Richard Capatosta, father of her children. Friends may call from Noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Anthony & Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road, Uniontown, Ohio. Funeral to follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mike Namey officiating. As per her wishes, she has been cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Parkview Cancer Center at Barberton Hospital.
