Obituary of William Batton

-STOW William Batton, 74, passed away unexpectedly on September 21. Born in Stow on January 15, 1938 to the late Rumsey & Mildred Batton, Bill was a lifetime resident of Stow. He worked as a truck driver, retiring from Bertolini Trucking and was a member of the National Guard during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by brothers Cal, Tom, David, & Bob. He is survived by his sister Florene Batton of Cuyahoga Falls and brothers James 'Mickey' (Judy) of Bath & Donald of Worthington, Ohio, as well as 14 nieces & nephews & 22 great-nieces & nephews. A memorial service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 am at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, 247 Stow Ave (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail) in Cuyahoga Falls, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
