Obituary of Francis L. Styles

Francis L. Styles, 87, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009. He was born in Wilkesboro, Pennsylvania and was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for most of his life. He retired from the Ford Motor Company after 31 years of service. Mr. Styles was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving during World War II and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of Star Lodge 187 F & AM of Cuyahoga Falls. He was preceded in death by parents, Bert and Laura (Greaves) Styles; wife,Edna (Richardson); daughter-in-law, Phyllis Styles; and brothers, Kenneth, Albert and Roy. He is survived by daughter, Kathleen Scafidi; sons, James, Bruce, Gene and Fr. Kenneth; brother, Bert; sister, Gladys Shaw; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. in Cuyahoga Falls. Fr. Kenneth Styles officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens where Firestone V.F.W. Post 3383 will also conduct military honors.
