Obituary of Joseph H Adams

Joseph H. Adams, 85, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Pleasantview Care Center. Joseph was born September 11, 1926 in Akron and had been an Akron resident for his entire life. He was employed by Ohio Bell Telephone Company for over 32 years, retiring in 1983. Joseph was a member of Victory Lodge No. 649 F & AM, VFW Post 3383 and the 5th Marine Division. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Sallie (Lynch) Adams; sons, James and Garry Adams; and grandson, Dirk Adams. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Charles Adams. A Remembrance service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. September 13 at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. and will be followed by interment services with Military Honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
