Obituary of James E. Comedy

James E. "PUP" Comedy, 60, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2009. He was born in Akron and was a 1967 graduate of Garfield High School. After graduation he worked for Honeywell and then toured with LaFlavour as stage manager for 14 years. After retiring from the road, he worked for Stonehedge Lanes. He was preceded in death by parents, James and Maxine (Miller) Comedy; and is survived by sister, Sandra (Russell) Christ; nephew, Barry (Kelli Jackson) Christ; niece, Wendi (Erik) Miller; great-nieces, Mandi and Nikki Miller; uncle, Guy Comedi; friends, Jimmy Sullivan and family, Jim Mansfield, Rick Davis and friends from LaFlavour and the Stonehedge family. Funeral service will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
