Obituary of Rose Mary Capotosta

Rose Mary Capotosta, 91, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012. She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Mary (Cacia) Critelli; husband, Corradino; grandson, Anthony; and brothers, Louie and John Critelli. She is survived by sons, Rick (Maria), Ray (Martha), and Ron (Nancy) Capotosta and; sister, Josephine Hamann; and grandchildren, Emily (Jared) Lees, Audrey, Joe (Aimey), Andy and Adrienne Capotosta, and niece Dana (Joe) Plesz. Rose was a life-long resident of Akron. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel. Together with Dino, her beloved husband of 59 years, she enjoyed dancing, hosting family get-togethers, and spending time with friends. Rose loved to bake and over the years she made hundreds of cookies for family and church events. She was a wonderful caregiver and always willing to help others. The family would especially like to thank Sterling House for their compassionate care, Tim from CrossRoads, and family and friends who visited. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sterling House, 487 Austin Dr., Barberton OH 44203. Requiem High Mass will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, 2935 Chenoweth Road in Akron. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home (Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel 330-724-1281,www.anthonyfh.com) 1990 S. Main St. in Akron where a Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
