Obituary of Nicole Massi

Nicole Massi, 62, passed away suddenly on December 18. She was born in Nuoro, Italy on November 4, 1946 to the late Giacomo and Maria Vincenza Sirca. In 1974 she met her beloved husband Giulio in Sardegna, Italy where they were married. Shortly after, she moved to the United States. Nicole was a very active member of her church where she was a member of the Bernadette Guild and was a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers and home, and always put others ahead of herself, especially her family. She loved hosting dinners which were enjoyed by her family and many friends. Nicole is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Giulio of Seville; son Charles (Mary Steyer) of Seville; daughters Ann (Nick) Fanelly of Green and Stephanie (T.J.) Bencin of Medina; brother Salvatore (Amelia) Sirca of Italy and sister Pasqualina (Mario) Naldoni of Italy. Nicole also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends in the U.S., Canada, and Italy. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Akron. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
