Obituary of G. Douglas Huth

Doug Huth, age 67, born August 9, 1941 in Fort Hayes Columbus, Ohio died unexpectedly November 25, 2008. Preceded in death by parents Gilbert Huth and Juanita Purvis and his grandson Jacob Huth, he is survived by his wife Jolene, children John (Cathy) and Jim (Sue); grandchildren Jessica and Julianna Huth; brother Martin; sisters Juanita and Lois; and numerous family and friends. Doug graduated from Akron Garfield High School in 1959. He proudly served as an elite member of the 101st Screaming Eagles Airborne Divison. He earned his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Akron and retired from the RCM Corporation. Doug took great pride in his family and enjoyed his vineyards and wine making. He was loved and respected and will be remembered. Friends may call Sunday Nov. 30 from 2-5 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Funeral services will be held Mon. Dec. 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery where military services will be held.
