Obituary of Esther R. Zumpano

Esther R. Zumpano, 81, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008. She was born in Brownsville, Pennsylvania and had been a member of Holy Trinity and Immaculate Conception Catholic Churches. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by husband, Fred Zumpano; her parents, James and Dorothy Rudai; brothers, James and Frank Rudai; and sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy Kuzior and Lillian and Ed Scarpinito. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Renee Zumpano; grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Zumpano; and sisters, Margaret Athens, Charlotte Minko and Mary Weaver. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION) in Akron and at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
