Obituary of Zigmund Ostroski

Zigmund Ostroski, 92, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 after a brief illness. Zigmund was born November 5, 1919 and had been an Akron area resident his entire life. He was a member of the former St. Hedwig Catholic Church, the Polish Legion of American Veterans, Polish American Club and was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. Zigmund was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennie; his siblings Genevieve Ostroski, Helen Sanner and Edmund Ostroski; and is survived by his children Janet (Michael) Morris and Ronald (Sharon) Ostroski, DDS; grandchildren Nancy (Angelo) Catalano and Thomas Ostroski; sisters-in-law Kathleen Ostroski and Bernice Koscik; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
