Obituary of Zigmund Ostroski
Zigmund Ostroski, 92, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 after a brief illness.
Zigmund was born November 5, 1919 and had been an Akron area resident his entire life.
He was a member of the former St. Hedwig Catholic Church, the Polish Legion of American Veterans, Polish American Club and was a veteran of the US Army during WWII.
Zigmund was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennie; his siblings Genevieve Ostroski, Helen Sanner and Edmund Ostroski; and is survived by his children Janet (Michael) Morris and Ronald (Sharon) Ostroski, DDS; grandchildren Nancy (Angelo) Catalano and Thomas Ostroski; sisters-in-law Kathleen Ostroski and Bernice Koscik; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. (Anthony, Akron, 330.724.1281, anthonyfh.com)
