Obituary of Blanche Mae Roane

GREEN-Blanche Mae Roane, 98, passed away Saturday, June 21, at Pebble Creek Care Center in Green. Born in East Montpelier, Vermont on January 14, 1910 to Arthur and Theresa (nee Colby) Wells and had been an area resident since 1993. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband William. She is survived by her sons William Roane of Venice Beach, CA and Ronald (Heidi) Roane of Green; granddaughters Allison and Laura Roane; nephew Robert Boles of Texas. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00Pm at East Liberty Cemetery in Green. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service 3358 Ridgewood Rd.
