Obituary of Florence 'Sally' Mae Watson

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Florence 'Sally' Mae Watson, 86, passed away on August 13, at the Stow-Glen Care Center. Born in Chicago, IL on October 25, 1925, Sally had been an area resident for over 50 years. Sally was preceded in death by her husband Cecil in 1991, her daughter Christine Black in 2009, grandchildren Dwaine and Kayla, and three siblings. She is survived by her loving children Eva (Daniel) Gardner, Bill (Linda) of Canton, Don (Bev) & Ken (Cindy), all of Cuyahoga Falls, and Steve (Debbie) of Seattle; 10 grandchildren & six great-grandchildren. Florence was a kind and generous woman & mother. She would also lend a hand to those in need and always strove to care for those who were less fortunate. And of course, no one will forget Mom's Sunday Spaghetti Dinners. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, 247 Stow Ave. (at 3rd St., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls), where a remembrance service will take place on Friday at 11:00 am.
