Obituary of Patricia Ann Jordan

Patricia Ann Jordan, 68, passed away peacefully with her family at her side July 21, 2008. She was born in Weston, WV on February 21, 1940. She was a former member of St. Anthony's church in Akron and a former member of Hackers Creek Genealogy Society. She loved to do research on her family history, quilting, and many crafts. On November 7, 1959, she married Edwin (Pete) Jordan. They were the proud parents of five children. Preceded in death by her parents Jack and Esther Gonzales, and son William Scott Jordan. She is survived by her husband Edwin (Pete), sons Christopher and Steven of Akron and daughters Michelle of Akron and Jennifer of Marietta. Five grandchildren, Jesse, Ashley, Jacob, Caitland and Brianna. Also surviving three sisters Carol (Joe) Clark, Janice Wooddell, and MaryJo (Tom) Hickman all of WV. Her extended family who she thought of as like her own The Stasik's of Brimfield and a dear cousin MaryJo (Ed) Mckay of Akron. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8pm at Anthony Funeral Home, McGowan-Reid and Santos Chapel at Third Street, one block north of Portage Trail, with the rosary being said by Fr. Jim of St. Anthony's. Her body will then be transported to Weston, WV where there will be calling hours and a mass immediately following.
