Obituary of Ron Gangle

AKRON - Ron Gangle, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at his home. He was born in Akron and retired from the Hoover Company of N. Canton after 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, a graduate of BHS Class of '58 and was a well known local musician and Polka DJ for over two decades. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kaylene of Akron; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Yvonne Gangle of Medina; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Bob Spain of Rootstown; special niece, Amanda; grandchildren, Grant, Emily and Lauren Gangle; and a host of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION) in Akron. The family will receive friends Thursday, 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests no flowers please.
