Obituary of Irene Nagy

Irene Nagy, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at her home. She was born in Auburn Heights, Michigan and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Akron where she was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Mrs. Nagy had been employed in the Bakery Departments at Acme and Apples Grocery Stores. She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Charles Selestow; and sisters, Mildred Oliveto and Dorothy Klak. She is survived by husband of 49 1/2 years, Emil; daughters, Maryanna (fiancé, Ed Miller) and Claire Selestow; son, John; sister, Shirley McCracken; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral Requiem Mass will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 450 Dennison Ave. in Akron. (PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH). Fr. Gregory Drahman, celebrant. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S.
