Obituary of Margaret V. Grible
Margaret Grible Margaret Grible, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2008 She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she was an active member of their Ladies Guild. She was honored to receive the National Council of Catholic Women's Woman of the Year Award in 2004. Until her recent illness she had been an active member of the Firestone Park Prime Timers and the Firestone Park Seniors. She as an avid bowler and participated in many leagues throughout her life. Her husband, Andy, introduced her to the sport of golf which they enjoyed playing together. Her rose garden was the envy of her family. Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Andrew B. Grible; parents John and Susie Vrana; sister Mary Simich; brother Andrew Joseph Vrana. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Linda and Robert Kean of Rock Tavern, NY, Barbara and Roger Edgerly of Huron, Andrea and David Coffman of Cuyahoga Falls, Andrew and Linda Grible of Akron, Beverly and Leo Bedell of Cuyahoga Falls; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren with number 8 on the way, sister-in-law Catherine Vrana. She will be missed by her friends and neighbors, especially the Albertson family and by her family who she loved today, tomorrow and forever. The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the staffs on 5W and the Acute Pallitive Care Unit / Hospice of Summa Health System. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Summit Special Olympic Athletic Club (SSOAC) c/o 7755 Boneta, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
