Obituary of Eloise E. Smith

Eloise E. Smith, 74, went to be with the Lord, June 13, 2008. She was born in Marysville, WV. Eloise was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple, Yusef Kahn Caldron #24, and the Bichon Frise Club of Western Pennsylvania. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by parents Sherman and Pauline Sauers; sister Carol Elaine; husband Clyde Smith and great granddaughter Lily Heffelfinger. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Darlene and Patrick Dolan, Kathlene and Thomas Freeman; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Julie Smith; sister Geneva (Hugh) Webb; grandchildren Tara, Laura, Matthew, Christy, Scott (Krista), Autumn, Logan, Britteny, Ashley and Cody; great grandson Kashe. "Now that I am gone, remember me with smiles and laughter. And if you need to cry, cry with your brother or sister who walks in grief beside you. An when you need me, put your arms around anyone and give to them what you need to give to me. There are so many who need so much. I want to leave you something--something much better than words or sounds. Look for me in the people I've known or helped in some special way. Let me live in your heart as well as in your mind. You can love me most by letting your love reach out to our loved ones, by embracing them and living in their love, give me away as best you can." A memorial service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the Akron Baptist Temple, 2324 Manchester Rd., where the family will receive friends a half hour prior to services.
