Obituary of Charles Richard Sprouse

Charles Richard Sprouse, 70, passed away on May 23, at Akron City Hospital. Born in Charleston, WV in 1938, Charles had been an area resident for over 51 years. He was employed by Carroll Upholstery, retiring in 1993 with over 20 years of service. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Reba Sprouse and 4 brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Joann of Barberton; sons and daughters-in-law James and Megan Sprouse of Barberton and Charles and Debbie Sprouse of Springfield; grandson Jaxon Sprouse and sisters Kathleen and Betty Lou. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 1990 S. Main St. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 1900 W. Market St. Akron, OH 44313.
