Obituary of ilona Hazy

Ilona Hazy, 85, died Friday, June 6, 2008. She was born May 1, 1923 to Janos and Katalin (Simon) Horvath in Kisber, Hungary. She came to the United States following the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. She was very faithful praying daily to St. Rita of Caisa and a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. She was a wonderful mother, independent, proud of her Hungarian heritage and active until the very end. In addition to her parents, Ilona was preceded in death by her dear husband Emil; brother Tibor Horvath and sister Maria Derka; and is survived by her loving sons Peter of Fairlawn and Gabor (George) of Miami, Fla.; cherished granddaughter Adriana Hazy. She was very fond of her nieces and nephews and will be missed by her family and many friends throughout the world. Funeral services will be held Friday 10am at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church,9016 Buckeye Rd., Cleveland, OH 44120. Rev. Andras Antal officiating.
