Obituary of Natalie Wood

Beloved mother and daughter Natalie Ann Wood age 48, is now at peace after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was able to stand up, walk again and make her journey into heaven on June 6, 2008. Natalie will be sadly missed by those closest to her heart. She leaves to mourn, but to honor her life, her mother Georgina George and daughter Caitlin. She couldn't have fought the good fight without the help from her best friend Illona Hayes and the devoted care of her cousins Debbie and Joe Ostervich. She is also survived by her former husband James Wood. She will always be remembered for her dry, witty sense of humor, her creativity and her tenacity. The family is grateful to the staff at Sunrise Assisted Living along with the staff of Summa's Palliative Care Unit. Remembrance services will be held Sunday 4PM at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS). The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 4pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
