Obituary of John Dean Mihelich

John D. Mihelich "Grampy, Papa John" John D. Mihelich, 68, passed away Monday May 26, 2008. He was born in Akron. John had worked for Neidert's Distributing and retired from the House of LaRose. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and the Jednota Club. Mr. Mihelich was preceded in death by brothers Frank and Vic; sisters Rosemary Boyd and Betty Coffield. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Jackie; son Dean; daughters Shelley (Tony) Speranzini, Jill Mihelich; brother Peter (Gladys); and grandson Nicholas Speranzini. The family will receive friends Friday 5-8 p.m. at the Anthony & Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Steese and Massillon Rds. in Green) Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
