Obituary of Susan Margaret Stecz

Susan Stecz, 89, passed away Thursday May 15, 2008. She was born in Pennsylvania. She retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. with 42 years service. Susan was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She valued her family, loved to cook, bake (especially nut rolls and have her tea Mrs. Stecz was preceded in death by husband John; sister Anne Vanko; brothers John, Mike, Joe and George Sinar. She is survived by son Thomas (Judy) Stecz; daughter Barbara (Joe) Funk; daughter Beverly Schick; grandson Daniel (Tami) Stecz, great grandchildren Jordan, Delaney and Tyler Stecz; grandson Eric (Lori) Stecz, great grandchildren Madelyn, Joshua, Isaac and Samuel Stecz; grandson Benjamin (Catina) Stecz; great grandchildren Joanna and Lewis Stecz; grandson Ryan (Stephanie) Stecz; great grandchildren Thomas and Reagan Stecz; granddaughter Molly Stecz; grandsons Jonathon and Brian Funk; grandson Matthew Schick. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Carole Sinar (Mrs. Joe), Boots Sinar (Mrs. John), Marye Baranchek, Helen Studenic, Marge Yakimik, and Wilma DeLeone; brother-in-law George Stecz; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday 4-7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Funeral services will be held Monday 10;30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to VNS Hospice Care Center or the Jim Kelly Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Vincent St. Mary High School.
