Obituary of Marija Vrhovac

Marija Vrhovac, 75, passed away on May 10, in Norton. Born in the former Yugoslavia in 1932, Marija had been an area resident since 1969. She attended St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church. Marija was preceded in death by her parents Milos & Milka (Coric) Milkovic; brother Savo 'Sam' Milkovic and brother-in-law Slavko Rabljenovic. She is survived by her beloved husband Milan of Norton; daughters Milka Vukelic of Wadsworth, Anka 'Ann' (Milodar 'Mike') Cvetkovich of Tallmadge, and Vesna (Zlatko 'Mike') Bozir of Escondido, CA; grandchildren Dragan Vukelic, Mira (Dragoslav) Karac, Milan and Dejan Cvetkovich, and Steven and Christopher Bozir; great-grandson Daniel Karac; sister Mileva Rabljenovic of Norton; brothers Branko (Mara) of Ellet and Zdravko 'Zack' (Judy) Milkovic of Wadsworth; ex-son-in-law Vaso Vukelic; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Marija also leaves behind three very special ladies: sister-in-law Milunka Milkovic (wife of deceased brother Savo Milkovic), niece Milunka Ilibasic, and special friend Baba Stana Colic. The family will receive friends TODAY from 6-8 pm at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St.(PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS), where a Parastas will be held at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:00 pm at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church on Wallings Rd. in Broadview Heights, where Marija will lie in state for one half hour prior to the service.
