Dale Lee Katzenmeyer
Wadsworth - Dale Lee Katzenmeyer, 53, died unexpectedly Tuesday April 8, 2008.
He was born September 25, 1954 to Gurdon and Anna (Sadlowski) Katzenmeyer in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life. He was a 1973 graduate of Garfield HS and graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1982, Dale graduated from the University of Akron School of Law and started with the Warner and Swasey. He was then employed by Black McCusky Law Firm followed by Roetzel and Andress Attorneys. He decided to break with practicing law and started at XYLON, Inc. and, in 2003, finally began his own business as a partner in PPM, Inc.
Dale was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Akron Bar Association. Dale had a kidney transplant in 2001. In a unique twist of fate the donor was his wife, Mary.
Mr. Katzenmeyer is survived by his beloved family including his wife of thirty years, Mary (Ganns); his mother Anna; children Aaron and Lesley both of Wadsworth.
A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St. Wadsworth, OH 44281. The family will receive friends Monday 4 to 8pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS) where a Parish Wake service will be held Monday at 7:45pm.
