Obituary of Christine Cole

Christine A. (Balaj) Cole Christine A. (Balaj) Cole, 56, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. She was born November 29, 1951 to Charles and Mary Lou (Dillard) Balaj in Bethesda, Md. and had been an Akron resident for most of her life. She was a licensed beautician, a homemaker and most recently a certified dental assistant at Medina Endodontics. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, a long time member of the Le Leche League and the American Dental Society. She was a founding member of the Church Ladies Club. In addition to her parents, Chris is survived by her beloved husband Larry; children Matthew (Kadi) Cole of Akron, Daniel (Brandi) Cole of Portland, Oregon, Tracy (Allen) Lanhan of Akron and Steven (Brenda) Cole of Columbus; grandchildren Ethan, Kayla, Alexandria and Sydney Cole and Gage Lanhan; brother Randy (Beth) Balaj; sister Lori (Wade) Arterburn; many nieces and nephews; and was preceded in death by her brother Mark. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. (PLEASE NOTE NEW ADDRESS) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 6pm at the funeral home.
