Obituary of Harold Dean McHood

Harold Dean McHood, 73, passed away April 12, at the VNS Hospice in Copley. Born in Smithville, TN in 1934, Harold had been a longtime Akron resident. He worked for Chrysler for 21 years, retiring in 2004 and also served his country as a member of the US Army. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Sybil of Akron; sons Michael of Akron, William (Renee) of Medina, and David also of Akron; brother Jack (Pat) McHood of Rootstown and sister Jean Lupica of Akron. Harold also leaves his cherished granddaughter Kelly McHood of Akron. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 1990 S. Main St. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor Louie Damsa officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
