Obituary of John Adams

John Adams Sr., 86, passed away April 12, in Akron. John was born May 21, 1921 in Perryoplis, Pa. and was retired from The Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. John was well known in his earlier days, as an excellent amateur baseball pitcher. All his adult life he was an avid golfer, and loved to polka. He was a loving and very generous father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella, and brother Pete. He leaves behind his only son John R. ( Janice ) Adams. His brother Mike and sisters, Mary Mcdonald, and Margaret Sirilo. Granddaughters, Erin and Jessica and great granddaughter, Makayla. Cremation will take place.
