Obituary of Isabel Belitsky

Isabel Belitsky, 93, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away April 30, at Pebble Creek Care Center in Green. Born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1914, Isabel had been a lifetime area resident. She was a former member of St. Peter Catholic Church and current member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Isabel was also a member of the Lithuanian Alliance of America. Isabel was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1987. She is survived by her son Joseph A. Belitsky of Atwater; daughters Delores (Dick) Parsons of Akron, Carol (Ben) Storrs of Brimfield, and Janet Braybon of Green; grandchildren Duane Fryberger, Gia (Dan) Hudak, Joanne (Joey) Arnold, James (Tiffany) Curzan, Jennifer Curzan, Mike Storrs, and Melissa Shorty; great-grandchildren Maddie, Will, Ellie, Katie, and Ben. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Akron. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in Isabel's memory may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church 750 S. Main St. Akron, OH 44311 or to the Salvation Army 190 S. Maple St. Akron, OH 44302.
